Well.. Anyone remember?x
Well fast-forward a long time today we can finally share some good, positive news about it.

On the 17th February 2022 a Press Release was issued by Skystone Games & Indie developer Studio Surgical Scalpels. The release goes on to say:

We are ecstatic to announce that “Boundary” will have a free playtest during Steam’s ‘Next-Fest’ February Edition. The special limited-time demo comes ahead of the game’s launch this year on PC via Steam and the EGS. The limited-time test introduces players to Boundary’s unique zero-G firefights in fierce team vs team shooter action and will be available to download and play between the 21st – 28th of February 2022.

As a bonus for everybody who tries out the Boundary demo and signs up at the official site will receive a free ‘Tiger New Year’ skin for their participation.

Powered by an EMU suit, players navigate a harsh space atmosphere in orbiting installations where the goal is to engage enemy combatants in a 3-dimensional battlefield. Threats come from all angles and Boundary makes astronaut combat more akin to dogfighting where the angle of attack and position can make the difference between life and death.

Features included in the February 2022 playtest include:

  • Weapon customization system that allow players to upgrade and modify weapons to best suit their playstyles with stocks, grips, scopes, barrels and ammo types.
  • A varied selection of multiplayer maps that are inspired by real life industrial technology and space exploration.
  • Challenging tactical gameplay dictated by weapon customization, multiple combat classes, complex map navigation and more.

You had better believe I will be attempting to play the heck outta this one… Be it alone or with any other interested parties, I have been waiting what seems like an age for this game. I hope the wait was worth it! – Till the 21st February, here, enjoy some screenshots:
